Since its creation in 2015, the Africa Security Forum (ASF) has worked to become a privileged venue for discussion, research and strategic policy development focused on crucial security issues in Africa. Under the leadership of its think tank Atlantis, the ASF organizes annual forums, conference debates and thematic seminars, whose reports and analyses are transmitted to various political, economic, academic and media bodies. The Africa Security Forum is a forum for reflection, discussion, exchange and the development of strategic policies focusing on global issues of security, general policy, the environment and health in Africa. Its creation was motivated by the growing recognition of the central role played by security in economic and social development, as well as in the consolidation of peace and democracy on the continent. ASF has brought together decision-makers, academics, security experts and civil society representatives to generate innovative, contextual solutions to the complex security challenges Africa continues to face. Thanks to its positioning at the intersection of knowledge, policy and practice, the ASF has become an influential player in the African security landscape.
