The Africa Security Forum is the open activity of the Think Tank Atlantis. The vocation of our Think Tank and its Forum is to be an incubator of ideas to be shared between experts, this is the role of the Think Tank, and also for the forum a place of sharing with representatives of the countries of the Continent to the forum.
The purpose of these two exercises is to be able to offer decision-makers possible responses to the new security issues that are sweeping our Continent.
In this spirit, the latest edition of the Africa Security Forum in Casablanca brought together more than three hundred (300) decision-makers from the public and private sectors, representatives of sovereign ministries or major companies from more than thirty (30) countries of the Continent. Speakers, anti-terrorism judges, eminent economists, international experts in the fields concerned, followed one another for three half days, on the themes of inter-African cooperation in the face of terrorism, radicalization and transnational crime.

The Africa Security Forum 2018, which will be held in Rabat from November 21 to 23, 2018, wants to maintain its audience by opening its meetings to more than thirty-five (35) African countries and four hundred (400) personalities. Always resolutely turned towards the new problems which agitate our Continent, we have chosen themes whose avenues of resolution, on our scale, seem to us to have to be explored. We will therefore reflect on “Redefining the Axes of International Cooperation in the face of the threats of the 21st Century”.
Three periods of reflection will be proposed, articulated around the following themes: • Migration and socio-economic development;
• Cyber terrorism, e-reputation and big data;
• Extremism and the fight against radicalization.
To accompany and argue our debates, we have called on recognized experts, mainly from the Continent or specialists in it, major officials from Regional and/or Sub-Regional Organizations on the Continent and representatives of International Organizations in charge of the themes offered.
