The objective of Africa Security Forum is to bring together major public and private operators from 16 African countries, the most innovative companies and experts from the sectors concerned by the generic themes selected for this 2015 edition:
- Security of points of entry (land borders, ports and airports and sensitive sites)
- Modern identity establishment and control systems (biometrics, open data)
- Illicit financial flows (innovative electronic payment solutions, traceability)
- Digital and social divide (connectivity, challenges and impacts on traditional society)

The study of the impact of these technological innovations on the security systems put in place in each of the countries represented: critical infrastructures, transport infrastructures, energy production in particular will be the center of the debate.
Indeed, in the areas studied, we are now experiencing technological breakthroughs via digital technology that significantly improve the security of sites and the various flows. However, they are likely to provoke debate in society. It is also important to be attentive to the fragility of these systems, particularly with regard to cybercrime.
The introduction of new technologies and biometrics, which are now reliable and less expensive, upsets the mechanisms for establishing, controlling and using identity and offers new perspectives for a large number of public policies: health, social, elections , cross-border documents.
